About Us
Association of History Educators of Macedonia is non party, non profit and nongovernment organization for protection, advancement and development of history education in elementary and secondary education in Republic of Macedonia.
Mission
Advancement of cooperation between teachers in our country, neighbouring and in international level through information of ideas, participation in international conferences, seminars, projects…; Development of peace, democracy, stability and development of interethnic relation in Republic of Macedonia and region.
Activities
- advancement and realization of projects, seminars, conferences and workshops for history teachers;
- cooperation with domestic and foreign government and nongovernment institutions and organizations on the field of development and improvement of quality of history education and compatibility with contemporary development in Europe and world;
- publication of newspaper Informator for history teachers, web page of association…
- preparation of additional materials for history (collection of documents, historical maps, multimedia publication;
- improvement of quality of textbooks and additional education materials for history;
- organization of students competition for history
